Huawei has significantly improved the fluency and battery life aspects with HarmonyOS NEXT. The new software upgrade promises a smoother and more durable experience to users over the previous versions, like the HarmonyOS 4.0.

On October 22, Huawei launched HarmonyOS NEXT with exciting tools and capabilities. The company said that the new OS not only brings useful features on board but also enhances the existing functionalities for a balanced user experience.

The tech giant has improved its self-developed OS with every new update. But changes in the latest software version are noteworthy. HarmonyOS NEXT improves the device’s fluency by 30% while increasing the battery life by an hour.

Users who often struggle with lags and battery life issues would be quite happy with the HarmonyOS NEXT update. As of now, the device would be 30% more smoother than before. Meanwhile, its battery life will extend by 56 minutes.

HarmonyOS NEXT brings several other incredible changes that are even better than its rivals. One of the most beneficial capabilities is the Huawei file-sharing.

During the HarmonyOS NEXT launch event, Huawei also released the new 5.0 software version. It’s a new update with the NEXT5.0.0.102 build and 2.56GB package.

A tipster today said that the HarmonyOS NEXT has the same level of fluency as the current software version. The company is constantly working on the upcoming OS and will enhance the smoothness aspects to a significant extent in the time ahead.

Weibo tech-savvy @DigitalChatStation says that a variety of commonly used apps are actively stepping towards the HarmonyOS NEXT. The company is also cooperating with several new partners and encouraging them to join its app ecosystem.

Being at the initial stage, these apps don’t carry all the latest features or any major capabilities of the HarmonyOS NEXT software. Yet they will soon support them.

The tipster also cites that the fluency of the new HarmonyOS NEXT is quite equivalent to the current software version. Perhaps we may find smoother and more flexible upgrades with the beta build of the respective upgrade in the coming days.

Huawei currently preps the testing version of the HarmonyOS NEXT for its users. The tech giant will unveil the beta variant at the HDC 2024 event in June. By that time, we could witness some interesting changes that are still under the hood.

Note that the tipster has revealed the current stage of the HarmonyOS NEXT development. The software has a long way to reach the official version and till then, the company will surely boost the productivity of its real operating system.

Stable HarmonyOS NEXT – When?

Some other inputs reveal that HarmonyOS NEXT will arrive pre-install in the Mate 70 series. Meanwhile, Huawei’s Rotating Chairman – Xu Zhijun said during an event that the software will release later this year alongside the Mate 70 flagship.

Although an official timeline for both these products is missing from the frame at this moment. Yet a speculation is to find these dynamic offerings in mid-October 2024.
