May 2023 update rolls out for Huawei Mate 50 Pro, EMUI 13.1 unconfirmed

May 2023 update is now released for Huawei Mate 50 Pro global model and it comes with security improvements. However, users of this flagship phone are waiting for the next major software update – EMUI 13.1.

But wait Huawei is yet to send EMUI 13 for Huawei smartphones in the global market, then why EMUI 13.1? Because Huawei Mate 50 Pro already offers EMUI 13 out of the box and it’s eligible of running EMUI 13.1. But, the tech maker has not confirmed the release at the moment.

Coming back to the software update, May 2023 update for Huawei Mate 50 Pro has EMUI version 13.0.0.216. Owners of this device will have to download a package size of over 400 megabytes.

You should know Huawei Mate 50 Pro packs a powerful camera system and a sleek display. On the front side, you will notice the return of the notch, which has been discontinued in the Mate 40 series. While the overall look is stylish and well-received by the consumers.
