Huawei Nova 7 welcomes a brand new EMUI 12.0.0.279 software update that brings useful improvements. In addition, the firmware accompanies the effective VoLTE HD voice call feature to amplify the user experience to a greater extent.

VoLTE, also known as Voice over LTE enables you to initiate voice calls using the data communication of the LTE/4G mobile network. It has up to 3x more voice and data capacity compared to 3G and 6x more than 2G.

In the latest edition, Huawei is sending this useful capability to the Nova 7 users with the EMUI 12.0.0.279 update. Alongside this feature, the new firmware counts the November 2023 security patch to improve the safety aspects of your device.

Eventually, users are getting two benefits at the same time with this rollout. Notably, the firmware is upgraded from the EMUI 12.0.0.271 version and the phone holders require the same to enjoy these offerings. Meanwhile, the update carries a software package of 1.35GB.

Changelog:

Calls:

  • Adds the VoLTE voice call feature. Please consult your local network provider to find out if it is supported.

Security:
