A new Huawei Hi Enjoy smartphone has recently appeared on the 3C site with 40W charging. The device is currently in the developing phase and hasn’t confirmed its name yet. However, a new leak says that it could launch later this month.

Weibo tipster @UncleKanshan notes that a new Huawei Hi Enjoy series phone has recently received the 3C certification with 40W charging. It falls under the WIKO Devices brand and has the model number JEY-AN00.

The tipster reveals that the device’s codename is Jerry. While the launch time is unclear, the leak hints that the new Hi Enjoy smartphone could release this month.

Following the new input, a few netizens predicted that this might be the Hi Enjoy 70 Plus phone. WIKO launched the standard model of this series featuring a Dimensity 700 chip two months back. The company may now reveal its Plus variant.

Other details of the device are currently unknown. But we may find them in the coming days.

WIKO has launched Hi Enjoy 70 and 70 Pro handsets, inspired by Huawei models. These devices install the Dimensity 700 chip and come with new features.

The standing WIKO Hi Enjoy 70 model is available in three colors: Ice Blue, Snow White, and Gold black. It sports a 6.75-inch LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The phone also supports AOD glance.

Unlike the upcoming phone, the standard Hi Enjoy 70 supports a 10W charging capability for the 5000mAh battery. It has a single rear camera setup at the rear end worth 13MP and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfie and video calling purposes.

The device supports HarmonyOS features like fraud prevention on calls, earthquake early warning alerts, and more. Perhaps the new phone will also bring more enhanced features over the standard and Pro variants.

Huawei Mate 70 series still has time to go official and Honor is already seeing this lineup as the “strongest competitor”. One of the executives recently mentioned that Huawei’s upcoming flagship product would be the toughest rival in the market.

Zhao Ming – the CEO of Honor attended an exclusive interview after the Magic 7 series launch event. During the interrogation, a reporter asked if the company sees any biggest competitor in the fierce flagship smartphone competition. “Is it Mate 70?”

Ming replied that Huawei Mate 70 feels like the strongest rival at present. The executive said he doesn’t doubt the respective phone’s potential to rule the market.

He added that Honor is still growing and it wouldn’t be right to talk about rivals this early. The company only aims to develop better devices and the rest of the decision is in consumers’ hands.

“Huawei Mate 70 is the strongest competitor of all brands, there is no doubt about that. …we’re still growing and it is too early to talk about competitors. We must do our best and let consumers recognize our products.” – Zhao Ming.

The Honor CEO implied that the Huawei Mate 70 could be the toughest competitor in the market. The flagship series will enter the real world by next month.

Zhao mentioned that Honor has been working hard for the past few years to prove itself. Yet, it still sees certain doubts on R&D capabilities and the ability to innovate. The question “Can we develop better after being separated from Huawei” persists.

The CEO meant that Honor had to take major steps and implement new changes in terms of innovation. The company has introduced many useful solutions for its devices. For instance, the Qinghai Lake battery, Eagle Eye camera, and more.

“We relied on products and hard work. In this process, I think it is more important for Honor to be the best version of itself.” – said Zhao Ming.

Mate 70 Series

Huawei will launch four models with the Mate 70 series: Standard, Pro, Pro+, and RS Ultimate Design. The lineup will bring major upgrades and could be the first to equip a new Kirin 5nm chip as well as HarmonyOS NEXT software system.

Other changes will be visible as enhanced photography experience, faster touch responses, improved video recording, as well as an upgraded fingerprint unlock solution.

A new video leak indicates that Samsung One UI 7.0 will bring smoother animations than ever. It seems the company has delayed the upcoming OS version for good. Users may find iPhone-like fluidity with the next One UI software upgrade.

X tipster @UniverseIce dropped a video showing smoother animations of the One UI 7.0. The clip is more likely a screen recording done on the Galaxy S25/Plus phone.

Note that the clip has been deleted from YouTube. But another tipster has managed to get it. Tap HERE to check the smoother animations of the new software build.

Although the interesting part of this clip is the fluid transitions. The overall motions like swipe gestures as well as the opening and closing of apps appeared faster and more stable. Users will probably have the best animation experience with One UI 7.

It doesn’t show any lag or glitches while opening/closing apps. Switching between apps is much easier and faster than ever. Just a simple touch and users will see quicker responses.

Some applications that were indulged in this animation testing are Gallery, Settings, Phone, and Camera. These appeared in redesigned icons. The Weather widget also gets a makeover with a thinner shape than the previous major upgrade.

It’s just the beginning and Samsung could make ever better changes with the stable version.

A Weibo tipster recently mentioned that HarmonyOS NEXT will make the camera and gallery access more secure in the future. The new OS version could further enhance the security aspects to safeguard users’ privacy and data on their devices.

Tipster @AdakFenglangjuxu says that Huawei could make the camera and gallery access much safer with the future HarmonyOS NEXT updates. He shared his experience with the new software beta regarding systems and third-party apps.

Most apps, especially social ones require access to the gallery and camera for media content sharing. Although this permission often raises security concerns.

But HarmonyOS NEXT ensures secure access to both these system apps in every manner. The tipster says the HarmonyOS NEXT gallery ensures all apps have safer access at all times. It validates if images/videos are obtained via secure access controls.

Adak reveals two methods to access the gallery app:

The first one uses the device system’s component to obtain data. For instance, the Mee Time app directly uses the Image Picker to access the gallery app. It supports the device system’s component to control and obtain the data.

WeChat, on the flip side, uses its UI design to control access. It doesn’t directly support the device’s system components for every app.

Most of the applications such as the GoPaint app or Weibo use the second type (their own UI design) to access the gallery app rather than the device system’s component.

HarmonyOS NEXT camera gallery access

HarmonyOS NEXT may further secure camera, and gallery access in the future (Image Credits: Weibo)

This might appear as insecure access to many users. The same goes for the camera app. Adak says that the camera should have a preview frame in real-time before scanning double QR codes and beauty cameras.

Such apps and services have their algorithms to access the camera which may not be secure in every manner. Note that these don’t harm your data but can’t be said safe as well. Following these points, Huawei could boost its security for gallery and camera access with the upcoming HarmonyOS NEXT versions.

DigitalChatStation has shared the hands-on images of the Honor Magic 7 Pro before its official unveiling. Even though the tipster removed the leak after some time, we managed to get our hands on the pictures. Let’s check them out.

The latest pictures show a quad-curved screen on the front part for better visuals. Magic 7 Pro also has a pill-shaped cutout with two lenses. One of them will act as a selfie shooter while the other one will support 3D face recognition capability.

Huawei started taking Mate 70 series parts supply for assembly last month, and it could increase the production by November. As per the sources, the company will likely boost the components stock by 50% over the previous generation smartphones.

The supply chain states that Huawei is planning to increase the production of certain Mate 70 series parts by 50% over the Mate 60 smartphones in the same period.

It’s unclear what parts will get the stock increment next month. However, some key components could be camera lenses, fingerprint sensors, and display panels.

Inputs hint this move will come into action by next month, probably after the company decides the launch date for its new lineup. According to the previous revelations, Huawei could surprisingly unveil the Mate 70 series around November 20.

Huawei seemingly wants to avoid the tight supply situation that occurred for the Mate 60 smartphones. The surprising launch of the series led to robust sales. Although the company was unable to fulfill the sales demand on time.

It even extended the time for refilling the stock by 1-3 months which kept consumers waiting for a long while. Perhaps, the Chinese phone maker doesn’t want to face the same difficulties with the upcoming flagship lineup.

Huawei Mate 70 parts production

Mate 70 series will likely launch next month. The smartphones are said to equip mostly with China-made parts rather than foreign ones. This time, the number of Chinese components could be more than the Huawei Pura 70 handsets.

The new lineup will introduce both small and large screen panels. Small ones could show up with the standard models while the large displays may appear with the high-end variants. But a part that is highly in discussion is the fingerprint sensor.

Huawei could use a new type of fingerprint scanner for its Mate 70 series. A recent input said that the company may adopt a side-mounted ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for the standard Mate 70. Yet, how far this news is accurate will be known at the launch time.

A new Huawei Mate 70 camera cover leak revealed a signature look for the RS Ultimate Design variant. The device may adopt the same octagonal lens module as its predecessor. The changes will be visible in the arrangement of lenses and flash.

The latest picture leak comes from Weibo and shows the camera cover of all Mate 70 series models. It implies that the next lineup has four variants: standard, Pro, Pro+, and the RS Ultimate Design. All these models reflect a familiar lens cutout.

This time, the lens arrangement looks like the Huawei Mate 50 lineup but with a slightly increased radius. While the standard and Pro models have a circular camera cover, the Huawei Mate 70 RS Ultimate shows the same octagonal design.

Let’s explore the lens setup in detail.

Huawei Mate 70 RS Ultimate Design will feature the signature octa-edges camera framework. The edges look quite sharp and clear with rounded corners. Inside the frame, you will see four lens openings with a separate void for the LED flash.

Apart from these openings, the camera cover shows three more holes (one extra than the Pro variants). These holes might act as the color temperature lens, a laser focus sensor, or a proximity light sensor for relevant purposes.

Huawei Mate 70 RS camera cover

Another change in the camera cover is the lens arrangement. The previous-gen Mate 60 RS Ultimate features a rhombus lens setup with a lot of space at the center.

The big void is also visible in the Mate 50 RS phones. But the Mate 70 RS Ultimate Design may break this rule with the squarely-arranged lenses, placed close to each other. The in-between space will likely be covered with significant components.

Other three models may also get notable changes in the camera module, over the previous-gen devices. The leak further hints that Huawei Mate 70 handsets may adopt a quad-camera setup this time. But the news is still unconfirmed and we have to wait for the official parameters, which may be unveiled by the next month.

Early rumors claimed that the Mate 70 RS Ultimate Design could ditch the double-stitching look. It may wear a full ceramic back panel, flaunting a mesmerizing look.

The device could also adopt major upgrades for the display panel. Huawei may use a dual-layer OLED for the Mate 70 RS Ultimate Design.

Honor Magic 7 series will introduce an AI Eagle Eye camera tech to offer the best photography experience. The company will not only use artificial intelligence for daily operations but also to generate the most beautiful shots for consumers.

The tech giant continues to tease its next smartphone lineup before the official unveiling. Today, Honor shared two new posters hyping the AI Eagle Eye camera for the Magic 7 series. One of these teasers‘ caption reads:

“AI light-controlling engine breaks the boundaries of optics. The #HonorMagic7# series Eagle Eye camera has been fully upgraded. No matter whether it is moving or still, near or far, every picture can be a blockbuster. You can master the SLR-level imaging experience. Stay tuned on October 30!”

Before we proceed with the new capability, let’s understand what is eagle eye camera.

Eagle Eye camera is Honor’s lens solution for its flagship devices. From the name, the technology reacts as a real eagle’s eye and captures an object instantly, regardless of its motion state. It remains focused on the subject until the capturing is done.

This camera tech relies upon a millisecond-level capture algorithm that can snap out the moments irrespective of speed and distance. As of now, the company has upgraded this camera solution with the goodness of AI and rich photography tools.

Magic 7 series will feature the new AI eagle eye camera technology with dynamic imaging capabilities. These additions will offer a more fascinating experience to users.

Zhao Ming – the CEO of Honor Devices says that the new AI eagle eye lens can deliver a rapid and constant photography experience to users, just like an SLR lens.

Meanwhile, a new portrait mode powered by Yagu will ensure more filters and shooting styles than the previous-gen handsets. It smartly adjusts the light and shadow for images so that you can get beautiful shots always.

Huawei Mate 70/Pro back design has now been allegedly leaked, resembling the Mate 50 appearance. The devices will likely debut next month and ahead of that, several cover leaks and renderings of this lineup began surfing on social media channels.

Weibo tipster @DirectorShiGuan shared an image of the alleged Huawei Mate 70 and 70 Pro covers, revealing the back design. The interesting part of these phone cases is the camera layout, which is quite similar to the Mate 50 smartphone.

Both phone covers have a circular camera module with four lens openings. Although a slight difference is visible in the lens and flash arrangements in both frames.

Starting with the standard variant, the first cover has small gaps between the lens openings. The flash void appears above the lenses with two more holes. One of these could be the laser focus, enhancing photography in low light conditions.

Looking at the image, many netizens said that the Mate 60 paid tribute to the Mate 40, and the upcoming Mate 70 will likely resemble the Mate 50 smartphone.

The Pro variant, on the other hand, shows the same four lens openings but with a wider gap. Its LED flash is placed between the two bottom lenses.

The standard model’s phone case seems slightly smaller than the Pro one. It is in line with some previous revelations that claimed, the Mate 70 series may bring different screen sizes.

Huawei hasn’t confirmed these details yet. Based on early inputs, the design could be accurate to some extent. Things will get more clear with the official unveiling.

Mate 70 series will bring top-of-the-line features this year. Whether we talk about software or hardware capabilities. The device is likely to excel in every manner.

In terms of design, the Huawei Mate 70 series may not feature major changes. Although it would surely be better than the previous-gen models. Also, the RS Ultimate Design could be more stunning this time, with dynamic upgrades for the display.
