Sarah, the Saucy Little Redhead became interested in baking at an early age as she watched her mother bake special treats for their family. Throughout her childhood, Sarah remained interested in baking and enjoyed anything art related from drawing, to painting, to charcoal and pastels.

Several years later, Sarah discovered her passion for baking combined with her love of art left endless, edible possibilities.

The name Saucy Little Redhead, began as a nickname – given by a co-worker. When Sarah started her business, she thought the nickname was a perfect fit and Saucy Little Redhead Cakes was born!

She enjoys the entire process of creating a custom cake – from brainstorming at the beginning through to the reveal of the finished product. Her favorite part of the process is seeing the delight on a customers face when they see their creation for the first time.

Sarah has been creating specialty cakes for the Preston & Steve Show of 93.3 WMMR, for the past 6 years. Each cake is unique and always a blast to create!

Sarah has gone on to win awards for her cupcakes, winning the Grand Prize and Best in Show awards in the very first Peddler’s Village Cupcake Competition, and was also placed as a winner in Peddler’s Village Cupcake Competitions in the years after that. She has wedding cakes featured in a Winter Edition of In Bliss Magazine, and another in a spring edition of Philadelphia Wedding Magazine.
